It only about 8bucks a bottle and you can feel the fine grit in it. It takes off any marks on the boat including scratches from wake boards and things touching the gel coat with jsut hand pressure. I understand this process isn't cheap but is there anyway I can do this process myself? I don't need it to look perfect just want some of the eyesore of the marks on the black hull gone.
Web28 jul. 2012 · If the white marks are from vinyl rub rails on boats beside you, use MEK - Methyl Ethyl Ketone. It works great, the best of anything I've found, for cleaning up those rub rails and anything else vinyl - cowl vents, fenders etc. - should do the reverse quite nicely. Trust us, the owner of your local sports center will not be best pleased if you try to clean their courts without permission.
