WebSep 28, 2024 · I'm sorry to revive this kinda old thread, but I see similar fatal exceptions when I try to capture child windows or dialogs. I haven't read anything in the offical reference about whether the API supports top-level windows only so I wonder if this is even possible. Note that some apps may seamlessly replace the targeted window with a new one, which will end any ongoing capture and raise this event even though the target window does not appear to have closed.
